Who is the course for?
This course targets managers in all economic sectors. These managers would typically be first and second level managers such as heads of department, heads of sections, heads of divisions and all managers who have one or more teams reporting to them.
At the end of the training course the delegate demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the principles and concepts of emotional intelligence in respect of life and work relations. They must be able to explain and describe emotional intelligence concepts relating to but not limited to self-confidence, self-awareness, self-esteem and locus of control.
At the end of the training course the delegate should be able to analyse the role of emotional intelligence in interpersonal and intrapersonal relationships in life and work situations. The delegate will be able to explain The importance of personal and interpersonal competencies n relation to interactions in life and work situations.
Upon completion of the course the delegate will be able to analyse the impact of emotional intelligence on life and work interactions. They will be able to identify the consequences of applying emotional intelligence and the positive and negative impact of emotional intelligence in relation to self-esteem, motivation, interpersonal conflict, positive work environment, managing stress and improved productivity.
Upon completion of the course the delegate will have learned how to evaluate their own level of emotional intelligence in order to determine development areas. They will be equipped with techniques for improving own emotional intelligence in relation to development areas identified.
